I totally agree with you.
It would at least be worth a try.
Put all the resources into treatment and preventing children from using any drugs- including alcohol and cigarets- people are far too cavalier about alcohol abuse as it relates to children and teenagers.

My brother is an IC Nurse. Most likely, if you live in his county he gets to see you on your way to "check out". He says, #1 risk factor for heart attack in his experience is cigarets. Period. Even being overweight is not as much of a risk factor. Alcohol is related to trauma most likely, resulting from accident.

[Edit: I've heard one of the few things that keeps SS from going bust is early death from cigarets.]

Since you have found the Schaeffer Drug Library, I'm sure you will eventually find this if you haven't already.

Statistics alone will not work. Voters will more likely be persuaded with their pocketbook in this case. They are very confused by de-criminalization or legalization and rightly so. They worry for their children. We also need to worry for the destruction and subversion of our law enforcement bodies, the property rights of the 4th Amendment, freedom of speech and of course the 2nd Amendment, my favorite (not yours).
