Bummer. Have you tried a shock collar? If you have a lot of wild deer in your area just take him walking until you can jump one, tell him no as he breaks and then nail him. Unfortunately that seems to be a really tough thing to get a dog to stop doing once they start.

Sounds like time for one of those invisible fences..
Everyone in my development lives on an acre about 5 or 6 of the neighbors have them..They seem to work very well.
If not tell the _______neighbor in no uncertain terms..
If anything happens to your dog.. "He will bring down the Thunder."<gg>
Seriously I would inform the neighbor you will do your best to contain your pup but if anything does happen to your pup.._________________..
