Dominick, you've just provided a perfect example of what your ego could do to you if you allowed it to dwell back on your past action.

Scenario 1:

You have a good analogy (you saw a setup).
You wrote down the analogy (you pulled the trigger and got on the trade).
You pushed the submit button on SI (you got out of the trade).
You looked back at your post the next day (you reviewed your completed trade with hindsight).
You now started to doubt yourself about your post (you now started to doubt yourself about your decision on the trade).
You started criticizing yourself about your post (you started criticizing yourself about your decision on the trade).

See the parallel to trading?

Now, imagine you did the following:

Scenario 2:

You have a good analogy (you saw a setup).
You wrote down the analogy (you pulled the trigger and got on the trade).
You pushed the submit button on SI (you got out of the trade).
You felt good about your contribution to the thread (you felt good about following your setup).
You moved on to other things (you started looking for another setup).

Whoa! What is missing here???

Do you see why you will build up your confidence much faster in scenario 2 than in scenario 1?

Thanks for your self-analysis.

Cheers!
