It seems kind of odd that Bush would pick up votes in Miami Dade recount, as you would expect the votes picked up in the recount to follow the voting pattern of the already counted votes. Miami Dade went Democratic, but not by a huge margin, as I recall. This would mean a slight gain for Gore, but nothing like 600 votes, that was just Democratic spin.
