"==The rate-cut on Jan 3rd took lots of folks by surprise=="

Hi all, was surprised to find such an interesting thread.

Astrologers should have known better and not have been really surprised since @ approx. 12.15pm NY Time on Jan 3rd Venus moved from Aquarius into Pisces (its exaltation sign) and may have warded off a looming bear market....,

With Saturn and Venus in "mutual reception" (i.e. Saturn in Venus's sign Taurus, and Venus when in Saturn's sign Aquarius) had strengthened the 'bear' Saturn.. However Venus sign change to Pisces (ruled by Jupiter) weakened Saturn and at the same time strengthened the 'bull' Jupiter. In a few days (Jan 25th..) when both Jup and Sat turn direct one would expect beginnings of further rise in bullish sentiment IMHO..!

Now, I'm not saying these are the only reasons, as there are countless other things people could say to support their view. I have an open mind and interest in this subject, and would like to learn more. I thought I'd add my 2 cents fwiw...
