Hi Maurice,

I didn't know that you had this thread until today. Wow, a place for people to say anything? How can I cope with all this after going through Dr. Su's boot camp for the last year or so? (With all due respect to Dr. Su!)

I loved your rule-enforcing post on Dr. Su's thread. It was very funny, (though "insensitive".) Well, neither can Dr. Su be described sensitive by any metric. Before Dr. Su starts beating on my head with his 10 pound CDMA handset, (which was one of the first 1000 that came off of the Qualcomm assembly line,) I bet shut up and run.

Anyway, I dropped by without wanting to say anything meaningful. Just as this thread titled, I participated accordingly.

Khan

P.S. Happy Chinese New Year to Maurice, Ramsey, and everyone who has hang on to Q for a tough year.

Maurice, Sure hope that the Republicans allow more meat imports from Oceana. I have become fond of lamb chops and Rosemont Shiraz -- two of the finest products from that end of the hemisphere.

Is the mint sauce served on the lamb an American tradition, or does it come from Eurome?

Random connections:

This puzzle killed Russell. [He said he was never the same after writing Principia.]

Then his student Wittgenstein wrote a book to fix it up.

W. got famous, then declared it was all a mistake.

W. died saying: The whole thing is just a Language Game.

Maurice, your are a born philosopher. And this thread is a great place for language games. Thanks.
