Darn

Just when I thought I was going to get to dig into my puter... I was prepared... cordless drill, safety glasses, full cup of java, tweezers... I was ready...

Then tragedy. I was discussing my problem on a stock chat room and the posters there asked if I had a CD in the CD rom drive when I was booting up. Uhhhhhhhhh, yea was my reply... They suggested I reboot without a CD in the drive. Wa laaaaaaaaa the puter recognizes the CD rom now on bootup.

It is still not working properly but at least the puter knows it is there. So I am on the tc linked trail to fix this thing through software enhancement procedures. IOW... no drill, no safety glasses, no tweezers... What a bummer.

But I still have a full cup o joe.
