Dan, <The 266FSB boards are out and the chips start shipping next week.>

Next week? Judging from the hoopla, I thought the 266 MHz FSB boards were already out in full force, not to mention the Athlons supporting them. If Intel tried to pull off such a phantom release (as they have tried in the past, admittedly), there'd be an uproar from the industry.

ALibi Dan - Re: "It can work at a 33% overclock, though not reliably. "

Duh !!!

The 33% OverClock was a joke - that just brings it up to 266 Mhz - the ORIGINAL SPEC !!

Looks like AMD is producing a dumbed-down DDR chip set - designed for 266 MHz - but only works reliably at 200 MHz.

AMD - executing FLAWLESSLY !

Paul

ALibi Blow Hard Dan - Re: "Celeron sales took a dive into the dumpster, and the chips themselves soon followed"

What memory do you have?

Intel's Celeron sales exceed the combined total of ALL AMD CPU sales.

Get a grip on reality - and get your blue dress cleaned.
