The rolling blackouts that occurred in CA last summer were on Gray Davis' watch, not Clinton's. Davis did take the same attitude towards the problem as Clinton took toward the Monica Lewinsky problem, stonewall and pretend it never happened and it will go away.

I thought we were blaming that on the California politicians? That would have been the watch of Republican governor Pete Wilson, once mentioned prominently as a potential presidential candidate. Ed
