GZ -- You're right! The general tone of the Insults Only thread has...er...improved, and some of the posts are quite witty. (I even see you have borrowed a page from the Flame Thread's playbook, i.e., the use of phony news items to lampoon your threadmates.) Despite its..um...touch of vulgarity, this post especially tickled me (or was it just the trailer park reference?):

Your observation that the Insults Only thread attracts more posters when markets are down than when they are up is interesting. Do you think the same thing hold true for political threads? Do "down" times bring out more aggressiveness in people? Personally, when I'm low I prefer belly-laughs to shoot-em-ups, but tastes (and temperaments) differ...
