you wouldn't be from NJ would you?... Originally from Bergan County, but don't tell anyone that.-g- I live in northern Baltimore County in Maryland. It is designated rural up here and you have to have 2 acres or more to build a house. A lot of people have 4-8 acres. What kills me is that they plant it all in grass, so guess what you hear all weekend in the summer? I have 1/2 an acre of grass and the rest in trees and bushes. I bet those 12,000 square foot homes are bears to heat. Most of them have walls of windows and two story entrance ways, etc. I have a sister who owns a 8k sq foot McMansion in Pennsylvania......but alas I don't even think she knows what it costs to heat. (if you have to ask you can't afford it) I do know that their RE tax is twice what my mortgage is a year.
