AW,

I heard a rumor yesterday that Chrysler will lay off over 20,000 employees and shut down something like 4 plants. 50BP's still wouldn't take us back to where we were before he began hiking rates.

Kinda like, damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.
You make a good point.
Either way I think he needs to make sure that we don't get a recession (at least attempt to show that he will not allow it) and the best way to do that is go ahead and lower 50. He can always not lower next time to give that reduction time to take effect.

Of course Greeny always does exactly the opposite of what I think he will do so he will probably raise rates by 50 and give Bush the middle finger after he does.geeeezzz
