ratan...the Rich Janitor tried to do a very clear analysis of this year's earnings and it all made VERY good sense. His estimate, if true, would have kept QCOM a high flyer...unfortunately he was dead wrong...but what he said last year made so much damn sense.

So I will defer to others on this kind of thing, but if 1X really starts to roll out this year I think the $1.30 or so estimated now will be conservative. $1.75 would be more like it. BUT there are a lot of variables out there. I think your idea of $3 is a very conservative estimate for 2003...if China gets on board and the GPRS thing falls apart as it looks like it is doing.
