IS, your comments motivated me to look at MYPT.

I see a company that lost $45 million from operations in the first 9 months of 2000, offset by about $15 million of amortization and perhaps, maybe, $3 million of stock based compensation. I note too that nearly $10 million was invested n PP&E.

Cash at September 30 was about $125 million, or about $3 per share. That leaves a survival at current cash burn of about 36 months or so.

MYPT closed at $1 5/16 today. I note that a shareholder has recently sold about 5 million shares in the $1 price range. The earnings warning of January 5 is pretty discouraging too - $15 million loss not including amortization on very slow revenue growth.

My numbers vary from yours but the situation is intriguing. I do wonder whether there is much hope for the underlying business, so I suppose the major hope is for a liquidation of the company.

Just some thoughts....Peter
