You Protestant Atheist Agnostics! Immaculate Conception is the doctrine that Mary herself was conceived without original sin- unlike the rest of us poor condemned mortals. Virgin birth is what you are referring to. Used to happen a lot to girls when I was in high school in the 60s. That God wouldn;t let little babies into heaven to see him if they weren't baptized appalled me. I pictured Limbo as a giant church nursery, with questionable childcare workers.
