Rydex Total Assets Update for Wednesday, January 24rd, 2001:

Regular Series:

SPX Long - NOVA 519.0 Million
SPX Short- URSA 201.3 Million**new 52-week low

NDX Long - OTC 2,222 BILLION
NDX Short- Arktos 52.8 Million**new 52-week low

XAU Precious Metals 44.8 Million
Banking 75.8 Million
Biotechnology 469 Million
Money Market 914 Million

*********************************************
Dynamic Series (200% correlation)

SPX Long - TITAN 125.3 Million
SPX Short- TEMPEST 24.4 Million

NDX Long - VELOCITY 241.5 Million
NDX Short- VENTURE 26.0 Million

*********************************************

Big gains in both Nova and Money Market. The two
short funds both had VERY small declines but since
they had made new 52-week lows yesterday even the
small decline in their assets sent them to another
new low. All the dynamic fund assets were lower
except for Venture.

Hurry back, J. T., with YOUR comments!
