Jozef: 1st point is irrelevant.. I dont drive a car or anything else ;) 2ndly.. The potential for an environmental disaster is too great.. plus its well documented that the caribou herd up there does not tolerate the oil rigs or the pipelines around their mating time... so even if nothing gets spilled.. it still affects that environment.. your Inuit tribes up there are making that exact point. So, while you may be prepared to sacrifice the environment -I am not... and while the oil guys may lose making a few bucks... and while I may pay a few more bucks for my natural gas bill.. I'm prepared to live with that. Find the oil or drill the oil somewhere else other then in a sensitive arctic wildlife preserve.
