I think the reason that Ashcroft's nomination is the only one that got held up is because he is part of the lunatic, bible beating fringe of the Republican party. What was George Bush thinking?

Write your senator. I offered mine a $250 campaign contribution.

In the end, the U.S. can do nothing to prevent offshore gambling websites. So they will have to join them with a U.S. presence.

All Democrats on the Judiciary Comm. are voting against Asccroft. So the vote will be a tie with all Republicans voting yes. So his nomination will go the floor of the Senate.

If you live in a state with a "moderate" Republican senator then start hounding him to can Ashcroft.
