Ted,

So it seems that this lifting of sanctions is all about making $$$ and screw morals.....except, of course, when it comes to abortions. And notice that its never women who are proposing these abortion directives....I wonder why?

Maybe there are other ways to advocate your moral views than through sanctions. The sanctions punish completely innocent bystanders - the oppressed people in the oppressive countries, not their oppressors, US businesses and US workers.

Again, related to abortion, can you document a link (or proposed link) between abortion and trade? I guess the US would have to impose sanction on the US itself, since my guess is, US has more than average rate of abortions.

I don't think there is a link or a proposal of a linkage between trade status and abortion. You may just be mixing 2 completely unrelated subjects.

Joe
