Re: "I really hope he is more in touch with the computing industry than he is with financial markets. This action is not exactly confidence inspiring"

Maybe he's not planning on selling right away. He's not required to sell after filing. Maybe he's just going to wait for a good runup.

HTH,<<<I really hope he is more in touch with the computing industry than he is with financial markets. >>>

He knows nothing about baseball. Baseball is played with a hardball. Why is he playing softball with Merril Lynch? Ever since Joe Osha had a breakfast meeting with Andy Bryant when he first took over Tom Kurlaks job at ML, Joe has been trying to drive Intel share prices down and touting Intel's arch enemy (AMD).

Anyone who knows anything about hardball, when you get brushed back by their analyst, you either take your business elsewhere or you at least kick some dirt at ML's top guy and scream bloody murder.

Craig plays too soft. He should, at least do the same thing for himself by kicking some dirt at Intel's compensation committee. He is probably not highly compensated for the job title that he has. I'll bet Jerry Sanders has if not a much higher compensation package, a much higher net personal worth.

Hi HTH, OT RE: "teach me a lesson....DIVERSIFY...."

Diversifying is a good idea, something I need to work on too, but I think in your particular situation, the real lesson is not over-extending oneself with margin and also understanding the emotional impact this may have on your family, which is an intangible cost that should not be ignored.

Glad INTC is getting a bit further away from the 20's. Hope this continues to go good for you.

Regards,
Amy J
