Hi Mr. Mark,

Boy, that was quick. I must have timed it just right. Yes, I have Norton Anti Virus 2001 but best as I can tell it was disabled. In MSCONFIG startup tab, I unchecked everything including; Nav DefAlert, Norton eMail Protect, and Norton Auto-Protect. I don't know of any other way to be sure it is not running without removing the program and I even thought of doing that, believe it or not.<gg>

I had turned off my screen saver before I did anything. Obviously I overlooked something but it's over my head at this point.
