Constant visualization and repetition can do wonder as part of the exercise to train our "disciplined" ego. Unfortunately, it isn't as easy as driving a car or performing mundane duties at work. It will be more like driving a car to work knowing that there are drunk drivers driving everywhere. A lot of brake slamming and sudden acceleration to avoid the imminent crash... sometimes we are able to avoid them, but sometimes despite our best effort, those drunk drivers will still crash onto us regardless.... The truth is that it is going to take a lot of effort on our part to train ourselves to discipline our thought, emotion, or ego. It isn't picnic. There would be a lot of tuition to pay. And a popular saying that ring truth to our cause, "Those who forget their mistakes will tend to repeat them again." Our only best bet is to be like Jim Corbett, the Master of Jungle- be patience, persistence, and endure those important lessons when they come our way. And at the same time, we will do our very best to discipline ourselves with whatever methods that work for us. Hopefully, our self-awareness will prevent us from falling off the cliff and stayed off the hunting ground forever. I remember when I was in College attending one of the toughest course in my major. It wasn't a prerequisite course for graduation. Right off the beginning of the class, the Professor said, "I see there are about 15 students in my class, I can tell you right now that by the end of this week, I expect to see only a couple of you left here...". This sound like trading to me, only a couple of us will still be here year after year. After all, big game hunting is really not for everyone. In other words, you have to really LOVE trading/hunting to put up with all that obstacles and nightmares and still come out smiling by the end of each trading day. Like they all say, LOVE can and will conquer everything.... eh? <g> Cheers!
