Hi Zeev - good point. I think the mkt is responding the tax cut part of the msg at the present time. After all, many of the stks we followed have ample *tax credit* and are not close to the consumer, the cyclical and financial are perceived as the primnary beneficiaries. I really hope it will spread to the Naz mkt. Strange though, why are the defensive sectors like the drug sector up? Although, they have been doing well on the earning front. So, maybe there are many underlying factors operated somewhat independent of one another. Hope they will gel soon, else, another round of margin panic :)

That does seem to be the issue here..have we seen the 50 bp cut rally already? Given from what I could decipher in AG's remarks(inflation comment for one), along with help from others...but especially the Fed futures, the cut seems very likely.

Sorry to see the SSTI disaster, but I am right with ya on the pain meter in my own implosion du jour, JNIC! Market still wants to sell earnings.
