George: Currently we are on a down leg. A 400 pt correction may be in the works for a week or so.. Because of seasonal factors, we may see another upleg to 3200 by end March.

Come Spring, we could face the full fury of the Bear.

Remember the last tech bear slide was close to 15 months
Started in July 1997 and went through Oct. 1998. And that was with robust economic activity and just a fraction of current valuations. Plus we had the Y2k upgrade cycle. The tremendous spending just can't happen right away. The training and cultural shifts within a corporation takes time to absorb.

The recent Nasdaq rallies are due, to make some tests, before the next takeoff...
A trading range for Nasdaq 2500-3000...is very likely.
Sector rotation and manipulation (like LG said...)
NTAP downgrade is one of the example...why they didn't downgraded it last week?
NYA is trying to break above 660...

But George, if I remember correctly, Hays had 1400 before the end of 2000 in his last April forecast, at least that is what you reported here in mid April. I remember posting a relatively lengthy counter argument at the time.
