I'm RW and I'm not breaking out any champagne. It's a darn shame that anybody got suspended. Hope they're back very soon.

It appears to me that many of those people on that thread desperately need someone or something to belittle, badger, and berate. I think they get bored being all by themselves, and come over to threads like this to cause problems. It obviously excites them. Equally obvious is their unwillingness to engage in dialogue with people of different viewpoints. I am reminded of children who desperately want attention in grammar school. They act up in the same way, I think. Once they realize that their antics won't get them anywhere, they usually shut up or go away. That is why I advocate not responding to obviously inflammatory posts.

If it were up to me, there would be no suspensions or expulsions except for threats and other violations of the law. If someone can't take the heat, they should stay out of the kitchen. May I point out, though, that at the time Poet got suspended, she was in the process of attempting to turn in the entire RWET?

Where's the champagne? I'm RW and I don't think there should be any suspensions for anything other than threats of violence and posting of personal information not revealed by the poster. Been suspended a few times and warned a whole lot of others myself. I think it really ought to be anything goes with those two exceptions I mentioned. Too hard to figure out where the line is drawn. JLA
