Okay, simple vandalism. What is the point of prosecuting it? Is is a) prevention of recurrence b) retribution or c) other? Add up all the things you will gain and all the things you will lose by this and figure out how much time, effort and expense will be involved in subpoenas, prosecution, etc. The Repubs have the WH and the Congress and will probably get to set the Supreme Court. What more? In some countries when you have a 50/50 division over the WH and a minority party takes office, you get coups. Let sleeping dogs lie. IMO.

I don't know if you know this, but all these sibling threads are under threat of immediate complete deletion unless we come to some sort of agreement about thread hygiene, and maybe even then. We need to agree to terms almost immediately. I don't want all of our many 1000's of posts deleted, perhaps we can agree on terms of warfare? If both sides won't negotiate, don't care, or one sees that as victory, well I guess there is nothing I can do. joelle How's this for a starting point? I would take LWP off the thread name at the Boxing Ring. I would link to both inextricably entwined threads. The Boxing Ring would remain unmoderated. I feel that moderated threads are like rooms with closed doors, but open windows. It is rude to talk bas about someone as if he/she weren't there, and where he/she can't defend h/hself LWP would volunteer to monitor thread hygiene regarding personal attacks on outsiders. I am saying we should recognize that our $#iT also stinks, and clean it up. If a poster on LWP says something rude about you, for example, it would be thread members duty to say, regardless of whether you are right or wrong, that post belongs at the Boxing Ring. If you feel we are not living up to our end of the bargain, call SI_Admin. Likewise I am hoping RWET will volunteer to attend to its own messes. IGNORE is the remedy at BR. I am hoping that SI will let us agree that here it is a free-for-all. No whining about what goes on at BR. If you want out of that debacle, just stop posting there. No dozens type posts. Anyone care to add anything?
