Without the Reagan/Bush military spending, Clinton wouldn't have had a military to send to Bosnia.

Gee, I wonder if Taiwan and South Korea would be independent now without the US military at the level Bush left it at? I wonder what a seriously destabilized Asia would have done to the "Clinton" prosperity? The Chinese wouldn't have needed the classified missile and satellite technology that Clinton gave to them.

I wonder if Israel would still exist? I wonder what would've happened with the Gulf War? I wonder how much you'd be paying for a tank of gas right now, if...

Oh, but I forgot. You've got it all figured out...

While it is true that Clinton soaked the rich and destroyed the military, two things that
come easy to socialist draft dodger types, all his budget projections were showing red ink
as far as the eye can see until the Republicans took over Congress and started some real
spending cuts. The balanced budget act was passed almost over Clinton's dead
body after several vetoes. This did not prevent him from getting in front of the parade
so that suckers would give him credit. Only Jerry Brown's attempt at getting credit
for Proposition 13 in CA after having fought it can compare in brazenness.

<<Funny, I remember Ronald Reagan stating in 1980 that, if he were elected, he would have the federal budget balanced by 1984. >>

Alcohol abuse will do that to you.
