Hard to believe no one gets it yet: The paradigm is shifting to optical not only for telecom/internet but for traditional networks as well. Technologies are becoming obsolete faster than an analyst can say "downgrade!"

maybe that reflects what pmcs is going through since they claim not to be losing market share. just speculation.

The traditional network is the office LAN. Name me an optical LAN product.
