Ian, The death endpoint was statistically non-significant, presumably because of the low overall incidence. only have a core position which I haven't been trading. I should probably adopt a different philosophy in this sector. My basic philosophy in biotech is also "buy and hold." I mostly only diverge when a price looks just too tempting. I've held most of my ALXN since early 1999 with a basis in the low teens, and so I wanted to take something off the table anyhow. I'm a terrible day-trader in any event - never quite was able to get it into my head that you are really supposed to sell at the end of the day, no matter what the price is. <g> Peter
