We thought Texas already had its own power generating facilities. Is it for natural gas
gas and oi?. There was a spot on the tv news about it, but we don't recall. I forgot that you
live in Texas! (g)

We would have to vote for de-regulation, and I can't imagine that it would pass after the
California disaster. I believe one of our energy companies was forced to sell to
California. Our natural gas bill went up because of it. And the company that sold the gas
to California worried about getting paid.

We are in dire straights because we haven't had sufficient rain and there is little snow in the
mountains. We depend on the snow pack in the mountains for our water, and since it hasn't
snowed, it is predicted our electricity bills will go up 100% by this summer or next fall. I forget the
exact date.

Not only will our electric bills go up but so will our water bills, and last summer I had one water bill that
was over $300.00 for a two month period, and I didn't even try to stay on top of watering the lawn or plants, although most plants survived.

The global warming situation is very serious. And Bush is not likely to take it seriously.

I see Norton got appointed. Even Canada has now said that development in the Alaska Refuge
area would be a disaster, according to what my husband heard.
