JC - you seem intent on defending something I am not attacking. The point I was making is that John needs to pick a different example to show MS enterprise class performance. I am not up on the inner workings of hotmail, but the last time I discussed it with someone from MS - which was in November - they were still running on UE10000 and no one thought they would shift any time soon. I don't doubt that there are folks working to get a version which runs on the MS stack - I can't imagine MS likes running a core system on Sun, any more than DELL likes running their core systems on Compaq - but the reality in both cases is that it does not make business sense to force a change when the alternative is more risky.
