I did that, but when i double-click on the Sound, Video and Game Controllers, nothing happens. A sublist opens which says only "Gameport Joystick" and "MPU-401 Compatible" - both meaningless to me.

Foret the first reply. I figure that the MPU thingy is the sound. But when I go further down the Help menu, to the Multimedia thing, all boxes are gray so I can't click on anything or nothing happens when i click on Audio Devices.
Does that mean I have no sound card? Isn't that odd?
