John, the news was already available in the morning. You win some, you lose some, but more important is the sum of the total contracts won. Market makers will always try to make a big deal out of single contract like this. A market research about a month ago shown that NT gained share in DWDM and became the #1 market share leader. The market research tells the real story, not a single contract.

CIENA Corp (CIEN) 88 3/8 -1 11/16: -- Update -- SG Cowen comments on an article in Lightreading.com which is reporting that CIEN may be close to a big customer win for its Core Director Optical Cross Connect; article indicates that Level3 (LVLT 44 7/8) is testing the product in its NYC POP; would be a significant win.

Hi John - didn't people float the same rumor only 2 or 3 weeks ago? How many times do we have to listen to the little boy crying wolf :)?! I don't mean it is not possible, anything is possible, but, really, the pundits can't even count w/o company's guidance, do we expect them to know who is getting what? Instead, rumor like NOK buying LU is notorious arbitrageur's exit strategy, so it can be the case here, just the same
