OT -- Another small cap tech that others may want to look at is RADN - Radyne Comstream. The company is in the satellite communications business with concentration in the equipments side. No debt, profitable the company has made a120 some percent comeback from lows earlier this month and is currently trading at 8.5 with a PE of 10.7

There are also warrants available - RADNW - which expire in 2005 - convertible at 8.75 share. They are currently trading at 4.

The company is small with low volume but I believe in a good niche of the satelllite industry with several orders received in recent months.

To be fair, I bought the company in the mid 12's last year (so much for my timing). Sold for a loss, but re-entered earlier this year at the lows, and am currently holding both the common and warrants as I believe the company has potential. The above, I hope, will not be construed as a pump, just a request to see what others think. Do your own due diligence.

Thoughts from those more knowledgeable than me are appreciated. Those frequent posters to this thread have aided me immensely in looking at companies and particularly the energy business over the past 1 1/2 yrs. I appreciate the education and insight all of you have provided.

hn2, thot you might like this link. i started reading greenberg in the s.f. chron years ago when we lived in napa and have been glad to follow him at tsc. he doesn't usually recommend stocks so much as warn. i am a collector of odd little watch lists; have been busy culling all the stocks spoken of here and doing well with that growing list - got a full point, for 5%, on cod on fri...

greenbergs list is one i will watch and add to as i have no idea about the fundies in tech equip., or in oil for that matter, but trading is great fun. just figured out that since i retired 4 years ago i have made $7500/mo trading vs. my former $5000/mo for getting spit on and beaten up as an e.r. psych nurse. nobody has threatened to kill me in years now! any updates on where we go from here appreciated. don
