Where did you see that high a number? Must be based on reported EPS and not the pro-forma EPS. SI's pro-forma numbers are
in line with other consensus forward estimates I've seen:

Based on today's $81 close, actual trailing earnings of $1.05 for FY 2000 (ended 9/00) result in a P/E of 77, and estimated
forward earnings of $1.26 for FY 2001 result in a P/E of 64. High, but not not unreasonably high.

578.57 pe QCOM is what I have. My source is Signal Real Time....

Price/Earnings (ttm) 528.13 <- Picked this up off of YAHOO.

Am I doing something wrong???? If so? Then they are all wrong.
