traderx..."as opposed to whipsawing very slowly" "slowly" or "quickly" does not apply to the speed of the action when it begins, but to the events leading up to the initiation of the action.....high momentum speeds the trigger event and increases the amplitude of the price movement........ and even the action(whipsaw) when it occurs can be with varying degrees of "quickness" or "slowness" to complete the cycle, and is totally dependent on the magnitude of the momentum that sets the action in motion...
