American Spirit, I wouldn't presume to think this would have an effect on VZ's share price, but I can say unequivocally that Verizon ( formerly Bell Atlantic ) is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. Their service is spotty, their billing is usually wrong and their technicians don't seem to know a telephone line from a string. They are the only company I know of in the private sector that is more horrendous to deal with than any government bureacracy. I refuse to deal with them. I let my poor wife handle that headache,as she has infinite patience. I am referring to everday run of the mill local telephone service. Forget DSL, I can only imagine the nightmare that must be.
