Patricia--If you're right, then it won't matter, I agree. I can tell you, though, that government funded fetal tissue research was being done at the University of Nebraska Medical School, and I suspect that it won't be around much longer because of Bush's edict.

"I can assure you that there are many private investors already "stepping up to the plate" with their wallets!! The factor that will influence Bush is the money. There is a ton of money going to go to the company and it's investors that can cure strokes, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and spinal cord injuries. Bush will bend when the money starts talking..........he always does."

Makes no sense, if private money is going to pay for it, why should the government. If all of these people are stepping up to the plate with their wallets, there is no reason for government involvement.
