Scumbria,

Do you think his boss is intelligent enough to figure out what Rumsfeld is trying to say?

(Of course not, he is a moron.)

I am glad you think that. He is in the white house, and more his opponents underestimate him, the higher his chance of getting re-elected is. Righ now, I think his chances are at least 1:1, which is higher than that of any other person (they have to win the primaries to challenge Bush).

Joe

Dear Scumbria:

How many budgets from Presidents have been DOA lately? The Democrats did it to Reagan and Bush, and the Republicans to Clinton. It is the House that creates budgets, the Senate just modifies it, and the President can make some changes but, since the Congress can override any time it wants to, the buck stops there. Its the fundamental problem with Democrats to keep conveniently forgetting these facts. Thus a Democratic House presided over ever increasing debt and a Republican one has reduced debt, fits the facts far more than who was President. It went up with Clinton's first two years, all of the Reagan, Bush, Carter, Ford, Johnson, Kennedy years, and all but one of Nixon who fought successfully with a Democratic House for one year. Every one of those years had a Democratic House, sometimes with large majorities. The scientific chi square and other such statistical methods, show that my interpretation has a high correlation factor and yours does not.

All your fantasies do not fit the facts (although they are widely held like other myths) but, my interpretation does. Its just too bad that you can't accept it.

Pete
