Sorry for the late reply. The techniques work in all timeframes, but one thing to remember is that the timeframe you see the setup is the timeframe you should trade it in. If you see something on the weekly chart, and you want to trade it on the daily chart, you have to find a valid setup in the smaller timeframe in the same direction as the bigger one.

Anything that works in one time frame will work in another. When you are looking at charts you are simply looking at a map, this map shows you points where there is likely to be extreme emotions on the part of the crowd. When you are dealing with the smaller time frames, just think of it as a smaller map. You read it the same.
