You object to unions merely because so many segments of them have fallen into crookedness? picky picky picky.

Actually, nobody loves unions any more, I think, because many parts of the union movement have been deformed by co-optation and corruption.

You can let it all hang out here. If you're civil, you won't be banned, i'm sure; and you're always civil.

Edit:

The problem as I see it is that labor has a right to organize against the expanding power of employers, and nobody has come up with a better idea about how to accomodate that need. Any ideas?

(Some unions have performed decently, it should be said. The UAW hasn't been tarred with the brush of corruption the way the teamsters, say, have....)

I preblocked all liberal type and suspected liberal types as a spoof of the original LWP thread where I was banned for asking a simple question. As I've said before, I started RWET as a spoof, a polite little jab at Poet. I was as surprised as anyone by the amount of traffic.
