it is the old strategy of...

let them believe we mean love and kindness... while we fukum in real terms...

while dumb and dumber constitute the majority they lead, there are others who are not in the market for wholesale caca for everybody...

i say, be aware, the fundamentalists are really close to real power now. the next 2 years are very important. the time to organize is now.

Daniel, even if Roe vs. Wade is overtunred abortion will be legal in the majority of states in the US. I doubt that a single member of the supreme court would try to argue that the constitution requires the federal government to make abortion illegal. Scalia and Thomas would just argue that the constitution does not provide for a right to an abortion. I agree with them. I think if you want a constitutional right to an abortion then the constitution should be amended. Personally I would oppose such an amdendment but if it was passed it would at least allow for decisions with the same effect as Roe vs. Wade to be based on what the constitution actually says.
