If somebody is raised to believe an imaginary entity is a real one, and finds it satisfying and that it adds what he or she experiences as "meaning" to his or her life, calling that person stupid doesn't get you anywhere much, is all i'm saying. And it strikes me as a little... well... harsh. Yahweh is just one in a very, very long series, and all these believers since the beginning of time in one imaginary Friend or another weren't stupid. They were pretty much just... trying to figure it out and be happy and good. And I don't know what would produce paradise on earth if theism disappeared tomorrow.
