I think it will at least if you and Scumbria are talking about not implementing any global warming treaty that requires massive reduction in US CO2 emissions. It would have been hard to push it past congress with Gore as president. With Bush as president I don't think it will happen.

1.Clintons wilderness designations were pretty questionable especially the Escalante region of Utah. Ithink that's the only one with a chance of repeal...

I testified at Congressional hearing concerning wilderness designation of the Escalante, in 1972. I'm probably not the best person to try to force your uninformed opinion on.

4. Drill off California? Other choice is less consumption. Californians have proven that's not what they want. So what do you do?

I hope that you really don't see the world in such hopeless terms as you claim.
