Hi Mark,

I think you stated you do not try and shut the machine down after using the END it All program. If I understood that correctly, do you just reboot? Or do you restart some applications?

That shutdown shortcut is slick. What does it circumvent (if anything) from the old shutdown routine?
Bob

To cheeky, cow, and mark:

Thanks. In answer to the frequency questions...
Yes it happens more often than not. I'd say about 8 out of 10 times it shuts down improperly. If it was a once a month problem I wouldn't be too concerned.

Mark:
I'm having a problem creating this shortcut you instructed me to do. This is what I did... I right clicked on the desktop and hit "new" and then went to "shortcut". When I get the "create a shortcut box" I named it "exit windows", but it comes up that it can't find the file. I guess it wants me to associate it with an already existing file.
Should I click on a file to associate this with? I'm a bit paranoid about creating another problem since I don't know what I'm doing.
Thanks.
