willcousa,

When you say that a fair price for medicare healthcare is not being paid, I feel sure you mean that the government is paying too much for these services. I have been involved with those dependent on medicare, and must, whole heartedly, agree with you. Fraud committed by all phases of healthcare, is rampant. I know of several times that complaints of such fraud have been made to the appropriate agency in the SSA, and nothing has been done to curb, what I consider to be, the theft by the healthcare industries from the coffers of the American people. A message stating that the complaint was received, is sent, but nothing happens. When further inquiries are made, a curtain of silence descends. IMO, millions of dollars could be saved if the fraud in medicare could be stemmed.

As I saw in a recent post this morning, the ridiculous cost of doing business, by the government of the U.S., is not just the military. It is out of control in all of the agencies, and the problem has been exacerbated by the Clinton administration's lack of regard for honesty, and legality.
