TP - What lies? All people have lied at some point, but I am curious whether they are bad enough to keep him out of the job. As you may know, I don't like lying. Also, why was it ok for the former president to lie (continually) iyo? I assume you supported him. Correct me if I am wrong. I remember you were quite vocal in your support for Al Gore, who seems to be a pretty good liar too. Scott

Also TP, regarding your Ashcroft lies assertion, then why do they keep SAYING that they wont vote for him because of his extreme conservative views. I didn't make up the part about the dems saying he wont uphold the laws because of his views. They keep saying it. I have heard Daschle, Boxer, Feinstien and more SAY it. Are they lying about why they wont vote for him? Seems like if he lied a lot that it would be easy to say (and back up) that "John Ashcroft is a liar" as you assert. Scott
