<OT> That is from Income Statement.. You will see a lot of companies report like that.. It may be worded slightly differently but they each want to emphasize the net income minus any good will write offs.. Goodwill on balance sheet is a different beast.. Check out last quarterly numbers and balance sheet of HLIT and you will see that these guys show a equity of 1.6 billion but over 1.5 billion of good will on asset side.. Pretty shaky balance sheet.. biz.yahoo.com
