former joe thanks for the update. btw, i just heard last night that duke ellington died on may 24, 1974... which is bob's birthday. what a sad thing to have happen. back to hank... we all know that bob likes hw. what we may not know is how much. you probably read that rolling stone mag piece a while back that quoted jakob in a tale about when he was young, his dad took him on a trip in a station wagon to some national park somewhere (i forget which one) and all the way dad bob kept playing a hank williams tape, first one side then the other then back to the first side, then the other. jakob gave the impression that he wasn't too enamored of that behavior by his dad at the time, but that he's sure now that that is where and how he acquired a lot of his musical roots... ...from dad bob in a station wagon going across the country. <g> i'm looking forward to the tribute album, it should be a fine collection of tunes. :) mark
