tc, or anyone

i'm interested in comments on your browser stability....

i used to run netscape communicator, and i was always fighting its crashiness. one day i had enough and opted for internet explorer as my predominant browser. by predominant i mean, i still keep netscape around, just like when i used netscape, i used to keep ie around.

but ie5.5 has been like a rock for me. no invalid page faults at all. no corruption. it just does its job, day after day. now i guess i should try to take into account the operating system, because surely an os effects browser performance. and since installing win2000pro, i've had a very stable os.

so my question is, does everyone have a similar experience with internet explorer? is it rock solid for everyone?

and, on the opposite side of the coin, is anyone running netscape and not getting browser crashes out of it?

thanks for any feedback.

:)
